In this 21st century, it is of vital importance that we continue using this powerful weapon for training our people and our stakeholders effectively in order to ensure that our standards and solutions are implemented correctly and return the expected benefits.
We are fortunately on the right track because the GS1 Community has made tremendous progress, in recent years, by developing high quality educational activities many of which you will find below.
These include details on:
· GS1 Member Organisations that have developed state-of-the-art training infrastructure and innovative educational programmes.
· Our global portfolio of more than 25 eLearning modules and 30 classroom courses that we can freely use to train our staff and stakeholders.
· The certification tracks being set up which recognise the expertise students have acquired by completing the related courses successfully.
· The improved educational infrastructure we have put in place for our GS1 Community including a more stable and redesigned “LEARN” platform, as well as the training library where we can share our training material.
· Our translation networks where GS1 Staff translate our educational material collaboratively, which is much more cost-efficient.
· The classroom courses organised by GS1 GO that are now coming to your region to make it easier and more cost effective for you to participate.
Training is important and fundamental to successful implementation and adoption, so let us continue working together in ensuring our people and customers get the quality educational material and service they need and deserve.
